Scooter is back with a new eurogressive track "How Much Is The Fish ?". Scooter's keyboard player Ferris Bueller has left the group, but he was immediately replaced by the 23 year old Axel Coon. Scooter's 6th album will see the light this summer. Get more info on the group at www.edel.de and download the video for a limited time.


WAT is a recently set up French company specialized in creating new thematic TV channels. The first one is "WBPM" and is entirely devoted to "Electronic" musics (Techno, Dance, House, etc...). WAT promises to launch 6 or 7 new channels by the end of 1998 under the condition that they will be completely financed in advance by a system of sponsorship. For the moment, the "bouquet" is limited to WBPM which is broadcasted freely in analogical on Eutelsat/Hotbird (only available in Europe), and replace the former "Fashion TV" frequency (11.300 H or 1.300 H). You can receive WBPM in all Europe and even in North Africa. The power of broadcasting is low everywhere so you will need a dish of at least 1 metre wide and a strong satellite "head" (ask your local shop for more details). Anyway, in a few weeks WBPM should also be available freely in digital (you will of course need a digital receiver !). And last but not least, WAT promises to never encrypt its TV channels ;-)...


The summer will be Spanish ! After a year of wait, the new TH Express is out in Italy. It is called "Tierra Del Sol" (S.A.I.F.A.M. Italy). The song will be licensed in France soon through Ramdam Factory. Though, the new Fauve, female singer of TH Express, is now only available in France and is called "El Sol Me Quema" (means "The sun is burning me" in Spanish). It is a latino song close to the former TH Express' hit "Bahia (Todos Cantares)". The maxi contains 3 mixes that are quite similar : Radio edit 3'12, Summer edit 3'28 & Maxi club 5'12 (3039476 - Sniper/Ramdam Factory/CNR Music/Arcade France 1998). The track is a French production by A. Papov and C. Bah. Finally, Loona covered Paradisio's 96 summer hit "Bailando".


Kristine W has a brand new web page so check it out at www.kristinew.com. It includes the latest info and new pictures as well as sound bites from all of the songs and from "Land of the Living" are included. As many of you know Kristine W performs regularly at the Las Vegas Hilton at the "Nightclub" but her last night there will be June 28, 1998. Indeed, Kristine is taking some time off to begin recording her new album ! So if you can make it to Las Vegas by June 28th do so because Kristine's live show is unbelievably amazing : she is backed by 4 band members, 3 background singers and 5 dancers and she is performing brand new songs she has written that may be on her new album, so check it out ! Kristine will be traveling to various US cities for performances so check the website "Live Schedule" page to keep up with where she will be and when. On June 14th Kristine will be performing in Boston at the Pride Festival at the old Greyhound Bus Station between St. James and Stewart. Performance time is at 7 pm. On June 21st Kristine will be performing in Seattle at PrideFest on Capitol Hill between 10th and Pike. Performance time is at 1 pm. Kristine is tentatively scheduled to begin recording songs for her new album in July. Additional mixes of "Sweet Mercy Me" are being recorded now with hopes of getting that song released in the UK this summer with imports available in the US.
